1/144 G-09 JMF1336R Rising Gundam G-Gundam

$8.99

The JMF13-36R Rising Gundam is a Neo Japananse Mobile Fighter from Mobile Fighter G Gundam, which takes place in a new Gundam Universe centered around a global fighting tournament instead of the typical conflict between Earth and the Space Colonies. Each competing nation duels with unique Mobile Fighters, fighting each other in one-on-one battles until a single Gundam remains standing. The victorious nation is granted rule over all of Earth’s space colonies for four years until the next Gundam Fight begins. Neo-Japan constructed the JMF13-36R Rising Gundam alongside the GF13-017NJ Shining Gundam, equipping the Rising Gundam with actual combat equipment instead of the dueling equipment used by the 13th Gundam Fight’s participants.

Included alongside the 1/144 Rising Gundam for accessories:

  • Heat Naginata
  • Beam Bow
  • Beam Machine Gun
  • Rising Shield

Articulation
 –

The 1/144 Rising Gundam is about as old-school as it gets when it comes to currently-in-production model kits from Bandai, predating many of the Grading systems that now define all Gunpla models in the current era. The simplistic assembly of all the Non-Grade 1/144 G Fighter model kits makes them perfect for first-time builders and youngsters alike! The 1/144 Rising Gundam borrows some aspects from the previously released 1/144 Shining Gundam, showcasing the shared development of these two Mobile Suits in-universe. This model does feature an early iteration of double-jointed knees, providing a wide range of motion to recreate all the martial arts action seen throughout Mobile Fighter G Gundam!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The 1/144 Rising Gundam features a functioning Core Lander gimmick! Builders can remove the model’s backpack and fold the cockpit into position to replicate the Core Lander’s transformed state. The 1/144 Rising Gundam’s Heat Naginata attaches to the model’s backpack when unused. Additionally, builders can connect the Beam Machine Gun to the model’s forearm for storage. This model includes a small sheet of color-correcting foil stickers to help recreate the 1/144 Rising Gundam’s anime appearance right out of the box!

This kit includes:

5 Runners total (A1, A2, B, C, PC107)
Total Piece Count – 76 Pieces

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the 1/144 G-09 JMF1336R Rising Gundam G-Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
