Action Base 5 is a line of plastic display stands for Gunpla kits and other mecha kits by Bandai. First introduced in 2006, an Action Base allows Gunpla kits to be displayed in aerial poses. Each Action Base comes with an arm that can be adjusted in height and angle, as well as different adapters for older Gunpla kits that do not have peg holes available. The bases are modular and can connect to other Action Bases to display multiple Gunpla kits.

Action Base 5 is designed for 1/144 scale Gunpla kits, as well as SD and character figures. An improvement over the Action Base 2, each set consists of one hexagonal platform, one short support arm, and several connectors for different types of kits.

Perfect for HGs and smaller 1/100s like the F91. I like that the arm will support just about any kit in a standing position or elevate them slightly off the ground. Will actually work with two small kits- comes with peg adapters if you want to use just one part of the arm for a kit.

One of my favorite action bases, this thing is capable of holding up even the bulkiest of 1/144 kits. Being able to connect the bases together if you have multiple is nice if you want to display multiple models together too. The support arm it comes with has a 3mm peg at the end also so you can also potentially use it for posing some accessories depending on the model kit, if not can use it to provide some support for posing with heavier weapons.
