HG IBO #17 EB-06rs Carta’s Graze Ritter

$15.99

Carta’s Graze Ritter made its debut at the end of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans first season wielded by the leader of Gjallarhorn’s Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet, Carta Issue. Carta’s Graze Ritter is a customized commander-type variant of Gjallarhorn’s Graze Ritter, designed as “peacekeeper” units for protecting the Earth-sphere. Gjallarhorn painted the Mobile Suits with a unique blue color scheme and provided a regal appearance with new shoulder armor and head crests. Carta’s Graze Ritter also features brilliant red accents to distinguish itself from Graze Ritters used by Carta’s subordinates, which feature white markings instead. Carta’s Graze Ritter is also a ground-type variant of the platform, featuring new thigh-mounted thrusters instead of the Standard Graze’s back-mounted thrusters.

Included alongside Carta’s Graze Ritter for accessories:

  • GR-Hr01 Knight Blade
  • GR-W01 120mm Rifle
  • GR-H02 9.8m Battle Axe

Articulation
 –

Carta’s Graze Ritter uses the same internal structure as the Graze Standard Type, which provides a satisfying and straightforward build, even if you’ve assembled one already. You’ll find double-jointed knees, swiveling thighs, and chest articulation all made their way into the Graze Frame. While using the same internal frame to create a myriad of model kits may seem like purely cost-cutting, and it certainly does play into the low cost of the HG IBO lineup, this is in line with the Post-Disaster Timeline’s lore. You can combine this model kit with the HG IBO #15 Gundam Barbatos 6th Form to create the Graze Ritter Standard Type, substantially increasing the potential for customization! Carta’s Graze Ritter also includes optional thigh armor parts to replace the ground-type thrusters. You’ll also find the back-mounted thrusters from the Graze Standard Type bundled with this kit, allowing builders to create the Graze Ritter Space Type as well!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

Carta’s Graze Ritter uses the Knight Blade as its primary weapon, adding to the Mobile Suit’s chivalrous appearance. The Graze Ritter used this blade in ceremonious appearances most of the time, accounting for its stylistic blade and hilt. The Knight Blade is equally as effective as the Graze’s standard Battle Axe, which Bandai included with this model too! Both Carta’s Graze Ritter and the Graze utilize the GR-W01 120mm Rifle to engage targets at a distance.

This kit includes:

X Runners total (A, C, D1, D2, E, F, PC002)
Total Piece Count – 129 with 24 Unused Parts
Foil Stickers
Materials – PS, PE

HG IBO #17 Carta’s Graze Ritter

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG IBO #17 Carta’s Graze Ritter with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
