HG IBO #23 ASW-G-11 Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City

After the Gundam Gusion Rebake took on significant damage in its battle with Graze Ein in Edmonton, the Gusion would require massive repairs. Teiwaz, Tekkedan’s parent organization, would bring the tattered Gusion frame to their command ship, Saisei, and re-outfit the Mobile Suit using its original Calamity War specifications and input from the Mobile Suits pilot, Akihiro. The result was a powerful, sub-arm-equipped, giant scissor-wielding beast named Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City. The Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City gets its “Full City” name from one of the stages in the coffee roasting process. Many have described the Full City Roast as the perfect balance between the original flavor of the beans and the flavor provided by the roasting process, a fitting description given the Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City’s development and modification.

Articulation-

The Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City uses the same basic internal construction as the rest of the HG Iron-Blooded Orphans lineup, so this kit will feel quite familiar if you’ve had experience building HG IBO models. One not-so-familiar aspect is the inclusion of two fully articulated sub-arms hidden away inside the backpack’s binders. To properly store the sub-arms inside the Mobile Suit, Bandai needed to provide an impressive range of motion. The sub-arms are double-jointed, while the Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City’s standard arms only have a single joint.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City includes a pair of Knuckle Guards tucked inside its forearms. When equipped, This equipment functions as a small shield or as a striking weapon, in the same fashion as human Brass Knuckles. Although effective, the Knuckle Guards are put to shame by Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City’s other close-quarters weapon, the Scissor-Variable Rear Armor. As mentioned in its name, this gigantic pair of scissors becomes a second set of rear skirt armor when not in use. The Scissor-Variable Rear Armor also functions as a shield, a concept carried over from the original Gundam Gusion Rebake and recreated with an included adapter to be handheld. To make your Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City appear as it did in the anime, you’ll need to utilize the large sheet of color-correcting stickers or try your hand at hand-painting!
