HG IBO #25 STH-16 IO Frame Shiden

The STH-16 Shiden is a mass production Mobile Suit produced by Teiwaz using the data gathered by the Hyakuri and Hyakuren. Teiwaz opted to develop an additional Mobile Suit Frame for the STH-16 Shiden instead of reutilizing the original Teiwaz Frame design, with the final product dubbed the IO Frame. The Teiwaz Frame and IO Frame are cosmetically identical, with the latter benefiting from minor improvements better suited for mass production. The STH-16 Shiden is a very versatile Mobile Suit and performed many roles under Tekkedan’s command, often supporting the organization’s Gundam units in small teams of two or three.

Articulation – 

The HG IO Frame Shiden is the first and only general-release High Grade IBO model kit to utilize the IO Frame, providing a completely new and exciting building experience. Thanks to the IO Frame, this model features a complete internal frame supported by an array of polycaps. The HG IO Frame Shiden features double-jointed knees and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG IO Frame Shiden’s minimal armor plating lends itself to an assortment of exciting action poses, especially when attached to one of Bandai’s sold-separate Action Bases.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG IO Frame Shiden includes the JEE-205 130mm Assault Rifle as its primary weapon. Builders can attach this weapon to the Mobile Suit’s back skirt for storage. The IO Frame Shiden sorties with the Partizan for close-quarters engagements. This weapon features a collapsing handle, allowing the Mobile Suit’s pilot to adjust the Partizan’s striking range on the fly. Builders can also attach this weapon to the Mobile Suit’s back skirt or backpack when not in use. The massive Riot Shield included with the HG IO Frame Shiden can connect to either attachment point on the Mobile Suit’s forearms.
