The EB-08jjc Reginlaze Julia is an experimental Mobile Suit developed by Gjallarhorn’s latest Mobile Suit development and research team using their newly constructed Reginlaze Frame. Julieta Juris, Ace pilot from the Outer Lunar Orbit Joint Fleet, would volunteer herself as the Reginlaze Julia’s test pilot. The EB-08jjc Reginlaze Julia far surpasses the capabilities of standard Gjallarhorn Mobile Suits, benefitting from the combat data gathered by the EB-AX2 Graze Ein in its first and only appearance. Unlike its predecessor, the EB-08jjc Reginlaze Julia was primarily designed for space combat, featuring extended legs covered in additional thrusters.

Articulation –

The HG Reginlaze Julia borrows most of its construction from the previously released HG IBO #24 Julietas Mobile Reginlaze, as both Mobile Suits utilize the Reginlaze Frame. This frame provides the model with double-jointed knees and swiveling thighs supported by an array of polycaps, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. Builders can achieve the HG Reginlaze Julia’s landed state by removing the lower sections of the model’s legs and reattaching them to the back of the upper portion. Bandai provided additional feet for displaying the Mobile Suit in the alternate state.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Reginlaze sorties with two Julian Swords fixed to its forearms for close-range engagements. These weapons feature segmented blades that the pilot can extend and use like a whip. Bandai provided two different lengths of swords for builders to display with their HG Reginlaze Julia. Builders can lightly bend the segments of the Julian Sword Blades to replicate the equipment’s whip functionality.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG IBO #34 Reginlaze Julia with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
