HG IBO #37 ASW-G-47 Gundam Vual

The ASW-G-47 Gundam Vual is a custom Mobile Suit developed for Rosario Leone, one of the top directors within Tanto Tempo. Tante Tempo discovered the Gundam Vual’s frame amongst the wreckage of a discarded colony without any of its original armor platings, leaving the organization to rebuild the Mobile Suit with newly fashioned armor and weapons. Tanto Tempo acquired several components from the Gundam Astaroth Origin to outfit the ASW-G-47 Gundam Vual, providing the Mobile Suit with improved mobility and flight capabilities. Tanto Tempo would later equip the ASW-G-47 Gundam Vual with both a wrist-mounted and shoulder-mounted shield to compensate for the Mobile Suit’s lackluster defense.

Articulation –

The HG Gundam Vual uses the same internal construction as the rest of the HG IBO Gundams, so building the HG Gundam Vual will be pretty familiar if you’ve assembled other HG IBO models before. While this may appear as a cost-cutting measure, it reflects the Post-Disaster timeline lore. This model also shares several armor parts from the previously released HG IBO #20 Gundam Astaroth Origin, showcasing the in-universe lineage that connects these two Mobile Suits. The HG Gundam Vual features double-jointed knees and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

As its name would imply, the Mining Hammer included with the HG Gundam Vual is a repurposed mining tool likely designed to bore large holes in rock surfaces. This weapon features a hollow construction and does not feature a rotating tip gimmick. Builders can attach the Mining Hammer to the Mobile Suit’s side skirt when not in use. The HG Gundam Vual’s Round Shield connects to the Mobile Suit’s manipulator and snaps onto its forearm for a secure hold during extreme posing!
