The Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento made its debut in the ninth chapter of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Gekko in a dazzling surprise to the members of Tanto Tempo. After Nanao Narolina steals the Gundam Astaroth in the closing pages of Chapter 7, the Mobile suit would again find itself stripped of its armor and equipment, now for sale within the Jupiter Sphere. Tanto Tempo’s head of transportation, Gianmarco Salerno, would acquire what remained of Gundam Astaroth, using spare parts from other Mobile Suits to create the Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento! The Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento hosts a myriad of new equipment, including a shoulder-mounted sub-arm capable of utilizing Astaroth’s various handheld weapons. Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento also features an upgraded version of the Sub Knuckle, with an additional handhold for increased stability and striking power. While still a far cry from perfect, the Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento shares a stronger resemblance with the Gundam Astaroth Origin than the previous rendition of Gundam Astaroth.
Included alongside the Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento for accessories:

- Bastard Chopper
- Short Knife x2
- 1st Gen. Sub Knuckle

Articulation –
Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento uses the same internal construction as the rest of the HG IBO Gundams, so building Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento will be pretty familiar if you’ve assembled other HG IBO models before. While this may seem like purely cost-cutting, it is in line with the Post-Disaster timeline lore. The Gundam Frame includes swiveling thighs and double-jointed knees, providing this model kit with a solid range of motion. The sub-arm features multiple articulation points, allowing builders to position the arm in various dynamic poses or fold it up and use it as a shield. The Sub-Knuckle’s manipulator attaches via a ball joint, providing a small amount of rotation while wielding the Demolition Knife.
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –
Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento utilizes a wide array of handheld armaments to engage its targets. From a distance, the Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento relies on its MS Rifle, customized by Volco for increased accuracy. The rest of the loadout focuses on close-quarters combat, where Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento truly shines. The Gundam Astaroth Rinascimento retains its Demolition Knife, the gigantic folding MS Sword. The new Bastard Chopper, which hides a Dainsleif Launcher, functions as its own handheld weapon or combines with the Demolition Knife for a massive increase in strength.

This kit is loaded with leftover parts, which really expands the options for customization. Posing can be a bit of a challenge due to the weight from the weapons on the arms.
