HG IBO #41 Gundam Hajiroboshi

$19.99

The ASW-G-35 Gundam Hajiroboshi is a modified version of the Gundam Marchosias, one of the 72 Mobile Suits developed during the Calamity War using Gjallarhorn’s mighty Gundam Frame. The Gundam Marchosias would find itself in the hands of the Kitaco Family long after the Calamity War, passed down through generations, and upgraded into the Gundam Hajiroboshi. The reasons behind the Kitaco Family’s maintenance and protection of the Gundam Hajiroboshi and the circumstances that brought the Mobile Suit to the Radonitsa Colony on Venus remain a mystery. The Gundam Hajiroboshi no longer features the original Mobile Suit’s massive wing binders and sub-arms, drastically increasing the Hajiroboshi’s acceleration and maneuverability.

Included alongside the HG Gundam Hajiroboshi for accessories:

  • 110mm Short-Range Rifle
  • Smart Mace
  • Crab Shield

Articulation
 –

The HG Gundam Hajiroboshi uses the same internal construction as the rest of the HG IBO Gundams, so building Gundam Hajiroboshi will be pretty familiar if you’ve assembled other HG IBO models before. While this may seem like pure cost-cutting, it accurately reflects Post-Disaster timeline lore. The model features double-jointed knees and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion for builders to create dynamic poses! The HG Gundam Hajiroboshi features a pair of articulated thrusters attached to its back skirt and a smaller set attached to its feet to create intricate flying poses!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The Gundam Hajiroboshi includes a 110mm Short Range Rifle as its primary armament. The Short Range Rifle and the Smart Mace feature a small form factor and lightweight design to prevent any hindrance to the Mobile Suit’s mobility during combat. The Gundam Hajiroboshi features two weapon holsters attached to its waist instead of the Gundam Marchosais’s sub-arm assemblies, allowing builders to store the 110mm Short Range Rifle and the Smart Mace when not in use. The Crab Shield features two articulated mandibles to ensnare enemy Mobile Suits, with an extending drill placed in the center to penetrate the captured Mobile Suit’s armor and strike critical internal components.

HG IBO #41 Gundam Hajiroboshi

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG IBO #41 Gundam Hajiroboshi with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
