HG SEED #46 TMF/A-802W2 Kerberos BuCUE Hound

Original price was: $20.99.Current price is: $18.89.

The Kerberos BuCUE Hound is a modification of ZAFT’s Mass Production TMF/A-802 Mobile BuCUE. The Kerberos BuCUE Hound improves the quadrupedal beast’s combat performance, particularly close-quarters combat. ZAFT equipped the Kerberos BuCUE Hound with new turret parts to equip the Zaku Warrior‘s interchangeable Wizard Packs, reducing production costs and making the BuCUE a more versatile platform. The BuCUE did not perform well with most Wizard Packs, as their designers only developed the Wizard System for use with traditional bipedal Mobile Suits. ZAFT would solve this issue by creating a new Wizard Pack specifically for the BuCUE, the Kerberos Wizard. The Kerberos BuCUE Hound would receive a handful of modifications to the Mobile Suit to increase the functionality with its new equipment.

Included alongside the Kerberos BuCUE Hound for accessories:

  • Handheld Dual Beam Blade

Articulation
 –

Kerberos BuCUE Hound’s heads articulate on a set of “vertebrae,” with a wire running through it to provide a dynamic yet mechanical look in any pose! All four limbs attach via a ball joint, providing the Kerberos BuCUE Hound with solid posability without compromising the original design. Even with the new Wizard Pack, the Kerberos BuCUE Hound’s turret still rotates, allowing builders to reposition the auxiliary heads as if they were engaging multiple targets simultaneously. For an even more convincing effect, you can adjust the angle of both weapons individually at their attachment points. Another feature of the Kerberos BuCUE Hound is its Tank Mode, which converts the four-legged monster into a rolling weapons platform. This HG Kerberos BuCUE Hound rendition transforms into tank mode without removing or adding any parts!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The Kerberos BuCUE Hound does not use any handheld weaponry because it has no hands! All of the armaments used by this Mobile Suit are already on board, including upgraded Beam Fangs. Like the standard BuCUE, the Kerberos BuCUE Hound utilizes Beam Weaponry mounted inside the unit’s head. Kerberos’s primary head (the one in the middle) uses five short Beam Fangs instead of the standard unit’s extended double-bladed beam Saber. The Wizard Heads use a similar weapon, only with one blade protruding from the base of the unit’s horn and the other facing outwards. Both horns serve as handheld weapons when bipedal Mobile Suits use the Kerberos Wizard pack. Inside the mouths of the Wizard Heads are a pair of Beam Cannons, revealed by lowering the unit’s lower jaws.

HG SEED #46 TMF/A-802W2 Kerberos BuCUE Hound

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG SEED #46 Kerberos BuCUE Hound with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too!

It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides.

This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
