HG SEED #59 MBF-P01-Re2 Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina

The Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina became Ronda Mina Sahaku’s personal Mobile Suit after her twin brother, Rondo Gina Sahaku, perished inside the almost destroyed Gold Frame Amatsu at the hands of Gai Murakumo and his Astray Blue Frame Second L. Ronda Mina would retrieve the Gold Frame’s remains and use them to build the Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina. Cosmetically, the Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina is almost identical to the previous version, except for its new leg armor and redesigned feet. The Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina received completely overhauled internals, totaling a 30% increase in overall performance. The Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina also received new weaponry, the “Tsumaha no Tachi” Triple Claw and the “Totsuka no Tsurugi” Saber.

Articulation –

The HG Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina features undergated frame runners, despite only using molded gold plastic. The Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina shares most of its construction with the HG #57 Astray Blue Frame Second L and HG SEED #58 MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame Flight Unit. This shared construction provides the Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina with double-jointed limbs and a dual-ball joint connection in its torso. The “Maga no Ikutachi” Energy Absorption Claw makes up the entirety of Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina’s backpack, featuring multiple articulation points, allowing the device to fold outward and in front of the Mobile Suit for an attack.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The “Maga no Ikutachi” Energy Absorption Claw is one of the most captivating pieces of technology found throughout the Cosmic Era. The device will draw the power stored in enemy Mobile Suits through its mandibles, using the energy to recharge the Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina’s internal battery. Like its predecessor, the Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina borrows its right arm from the GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam, carrying the “Trikeros Kai,” an upgraded version of the Blitz Gundam’s Offensive Shield. The Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina also includes the “Totsuka no Tsurugi” Saber for a handheld melee weapon. Unlike most Cosmic Era swords, the Saber is incapable of slashing or cutting attacks but makes an excellent striking weapon.
