HG The Origin #03 MS-06R-1A Zaku II High Mobility Type (Gaia/Mash Custom)

The MS-06R-1A Zaku II High Mobility Type is a limited-production Mobile Suit developed by Zeonic Company for the Principality of Zeon’s growing military force. The MS-06R-1A Zaku II High-Mobility Type was one of the earliest variants developed from the Zaku II series, outfitted for superior performance in space combat. The MS-06R-1A Zaku II High-Mobility Type features additional thrusters built into its leg armor fueled by internal propellant tanks inside the Mobile Suit’s backpack. These Mobile Suits proved unwieldy in the hands of typical pilots, leading Zeon to assign only their most capable pilots to operate the MS-06R-1A Zaku II High Mobility Type. The Black Tri-Stars, Gaia, Ortega, and Mash, sortied in a trio of MS-06R-1A Zaku II High Mobility Types during the Battle of Loum, using their overwhelming maneuverability to cripple the Federation’s fleet.

Articulation –

The HG Zaku II High-Mobility Type borrows several components from the previously released HG Origin 01 Char’s Zaku II model, the first model released in the HG The Origin line! This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The piping segments on the Mobile Suit’s head and torso are self-contained and should not inhibit the model’s movable range. This model includes all of the parts and markings necessary to recreate either Gaia or Mash’s configuration of the Mobile Suit.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Zaku II High Mobility Type includes the 120mm Zaku Machine Gun as its primary weapon. This weapon features a removable magazine for some awesome reloading action! The HG Zaku II High Mobility Type also sorties with the ASR-78 Anti-Ship Rifle and the Type A2 MS Bazooka for additional firepower. The HG Zaku II High Mobility Type can equip the Heat Hawk attached to its side skirt armor for close-quarters engagements.
