HG The Origin #12 MS-04 Bugu Ramba Ral

The MS-04 Bugu is the successor of Torenov Y. Monovsky’s innovative YMS-03 Waff developed by Zeonic Company to improve the Mobile Suit’s viability in actual combat. Many of the improvements made to the MS-04 Bugu sought to improve the Mobile Suit’s maneuverability, increasing the power output to its joints and the number of external pipes for improved mobility. The MS-04 Bugu drastically overshot its budget during development and was deemed unsuitable for mass production. Zeon operated several MS-04 Bugu units before the One Year War, given to trusted ace pilots such as Ramba Ral, who would personalize his MS-04 with a distinctive blue color scheme.

Articulation –

The HG Bugu borrows several internal components from the previously released HG Origin 01 Char’s Zaku II model, the first model released in the HG The Origin line, showcasing the in-universe lineage that connects these two Mobile Suits. This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The piping segment on the Mobile Suit’s torso is self-contained and should not inhibit the model’s movable range. This model includes all the necessary markings to recreate Ramba Ral’s personalized MS-04 Bugu used during the Battle of Mare Smythii right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Bugu includes the same Machine Gun used by the HG The Origin #14 RCX-76-01 Guncannon Mobility / Firepower Test Type, as the Earth Federation and Zeon both held contracts with the weapon’s manufacturer, Yashima Heavy Industrial, preceding the One Year War. The HG Bugu also includes the same Shield used by the HG The Origin #15 MS-05 Zaku I Char Aznable. The Shield attaches to the Mobile Suit’s forearm via a ball joint connection for a more secure hold.
