HG The Origin #17 RX-78-01[N] Gundam Local Type North American

$24.99

The RX-78-01[N] Gundam Local Type (North American Type) is one of the early prototype Mobile Suits developed from Dr. Tem Ray’s RX-78 program during the One Year War. This particular iteration of the RX-78-01[N] Gundam Local Type appeared long after the environmental tests performed on Earth during the height of the One Year War, reportedly seen devastating Zeon Forces in the desert regions of North America. Instead of its predecessor’s hydrojet-equipped backpack, the RX-78-01[N] Gundam Local Type (North American Type) features an updated unit loaded with vernier thrusters and weapon hardpoints.

Included alongside the HG Gundam Local Type (North American Type) for accessories:

This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs supported by an array of polycaps, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Gundam Local Type (North American Type) features a built-in 3mm attachment point for connecting the model to an Action Base without any adapters! This model includes all the markings necessary to recreate the HG Gundam Local Type (North American Type)’s appearance in its mysterious encounter with Zeon forces captured in Vasily Bosch’s recovered footage.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Gundam Local Type (North American Type) utilizes the same Machine Gun as the HG The Origin #14 RCX-76-01 Guncannon Mobility / Firepower Test Type. Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG The Origin #17 RX-78-01[N] Gundam Local Type North American with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
