HG WFM #02 CEK-040 Beguir-Beu

The CEK-040 Beguir Beu is a powerful Mobile Suit developed by Grassley Defense Systems to combat the Ochs Earth Corporation’s powerful Gundam-type Mobile Suits. The CEK-040 Beguir Beu utilizes two Non-Kinetic Pods, wire-guided remote weapons to perform “Antidote Attacks” that interfere with the GUND FORMAT Link between the Gundam unit and its Bit Stave equipment. The CEK-040 Beguir Beu also features a unique loadout of close-range weapons for destroying its target after severing its connection with its equipment. The CEK-040 Beguir Beu made its debut in  Mobile Suit Gundam – the Witch from Mercury PROLOGUE, where it effectively engaged one of the Vanadis Institute’s pre-production Gundam units before being driven off by a second unit’s desperate attempt at protecting the XGF-02 Gundam Lfrith.

Articulation –

The HG Beguir Beu features a polycap-free construction comprised entirely of newly-molded parts, a trend that will hopefully continue with the upcoming HGWFM releases this fall! This model does utilize single-jointed limbs, but their unique shape combined with the HG Beguir Beu’s swiveling thighs provide a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. There are posable sections within the HG Beguir Beu’s backpack to replicate the expansion of the Mobile Suit’s cooling surfaces.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Beguir Beu includes two handheld bayonets as its primary armaments. Each Bayonet features a Double Beam Gun and a massive removable blade for tearing through Mobile Suit armor. These weapons also lock into the model’s wrists for a more secure hold. Builders can also deploy the HG Beguir Beu’s Foot Claws by unfolding the model’s feet into an extended state. Bandai provided a small transparent display base for showcasing the Non-Kinetic Pods in an active pose, as the wires provided cannot support the equipment alone.
