HG WFM #03 XVX-016 Gundam Aerial

The XVX-016 Gundam Aerial is the titular Mobile Suit from the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam- the Witch from Mercury anime series scheduled to air this fall! The Ochs Earth Corporation developed the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial on Mercury, where its pilot, Suletta Mercury, spent most of her childhood before taking the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial to the ASticassia School of Technology to hone her skills as a Mobile Suit pilot. The Gundam Aerial utilizes powerful GUND FORMAT technology to remotely control an array of Bit Staves, each with an individual propulsion system and beam cannon. The XVX-016 Gundam Aerial’s performance is in-line with current Mobile Suit technology with a standard pilot at the helm; in the hands of Suletta Mercury, however, the Gundam Aerial can outperform conventional Mobile Suits with relative ease!

Articulation –

The HG Gundam Aerial features a polycap-free construction comprised entirely of newly-molded parts, a trend that will hopefully continue with the upcoming HGWFM releases this fall! The HG Gundam Aerial’s polycap-free construction ensures the model will hold a solid pose for years to come! This model features double-jointed knees and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. This model utilizes unique foil stickers to represent the full activation of the Mobile Suit’s permet-material components.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

Builders can attach all eleven of HG Gundam Aerial’s Bit Staves to the Escutcheon Shield Bracket to form the Mobile Suit’s shield. Like its predecessor, the Gundam Lfrith, The HG Gundam Aerial can achieve an alternate Bit-on Form where the Bit Staves reconfigure themselves, attaching themselves to a series of hardpoints built into the Mobile Suit’s frame. Two of these Bit Staves can connect to the HG Gundam Aerial’s Beam Rifle for improved power output and accuracy. This model also includes a super-cool Beam Effect to replicate the Beam Rifle’s melee mode.
