HG00 #28 GN-007 Arios Gundam

The GN-007 Arios Gundam is a transformable high-mobility Mobile Suit developed by Celestial Being as the successor to the GN-003 Gundam Kyrios. The GN-007 Arios Gundam outperforms its predecessor in all statistics, benefiting from the latest upgraded components. Celestial Being also improved the versatility of the GN-007 Arios Gundam’s Mobile Armor Form by giving it additional melee capabilities. The GN-007 Arios Gundam possesses two GN Beam Shields that use GN Particles to block incoming projectiles. Celestial Being developed the GN-007 Arios Gundam alongside a dedicated support unit, the GNR-101A GN Archer, which could combine with the Mobile Suit while in Mobile Armor Form.

Included alongside the HG Arios Gundam for accessories:

  • GN Twin Beam Rifle
  • GN Beam Saber x2
  • Multi-Display Stand
  • Action Base Adapter x2

The HG Arios Gundam features an entirely new construction supported by an array of polycaps, as this was the first rendition of this Mobile Suit in the High Grade Gundam 00 line! This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Arios Gundam also provides an accurate transformation into Mobile Armor Form. The HG Arios Gundam includes a set of adapters that allow builders to display the model atop the included display base in both forms. Bandai provided a small sheet of color-correcting stickers to help recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Arios Gundam includes the GN Twin Beam Rifle as its primary weapon. The GN Twin Beam Rifle attaches to the underside of the HG Arios Gundam while in Mobile Armor Form and retains its functionality. The HG Arios Gundam also utilizes the GN Beam Shields attached to its shoulders as a melee weapon while in Mobile Armor Form. The GN Beam Shields both feature multiple articulation points that enable their use as a pincer-like weapon. The HG Arios Gundam also includes a pair of standard GN Beam Sabers stored inside its front skirt armor. Bandai provided two transparent pink Beam Sabers to recreate this equipment’s activation.

HG00 #28 GN-007 Arios Gundam

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HG00 #28 GN-007 Arios Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
