HGAW #118 GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider

The GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider is a custom Mobile Suit created by Kid Salsamille, Chief Mechanic onboard Vulture’s Freeden land battleship, using the remains of the GX-9900 Gundam X. The Sattelite Cannons that made the original Gundam X so notable are not present on the GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider, as components of this equipment were unrecoverable. Instead, the GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider utilizes the newly designed Divider, which employs several parts from old battleships and other Mobile Suits in its construction. This new equipment serves as the Mobile Suit’s shield but is also a powerful ranged weapon that functions as a propulsion unit when attached to the GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider’s backpack.

Articulation –

The HG Gundam X Divider borrows most of its construction from the previously released HG #109 GG-9900 Gundam X, showcasing the in-universe lineage that connects these two Mobile Suits. This model features double-jointed knees and rotating hips, all supported by an array of polycaps to provide a wide range of motion for dynamic posing! Builders can pivot the external propellant tanks attached to the HG Gundam X Divider’s backpack to create more intriguing flying poses! There is a 3mm attachment point hidden underneath the model’s waist where builders can attach an Action Base of their choosing.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Divider included with the HG Gundam X Divider features an array of built-in beam emitters hidden beneath the shield’s face. Builders can reveal this equipment by removing the main panels on the Divider and reattaching them in an open configuration. These panels can also fold backward to replicate the Divider’s appearance when attached to the HG Gundam X Divider’s backpack. This model also includes a Beam Machine Gun and a Hyper Bazooka for handheld use. The HG Gundam X Divider’s Beam Sabers utilize recycled components from the Gundam X’s Sattelite Cannon to amplify the strength of the emitted beam. Bandai provided a pair of uniquely designed Beam Effects to replicate the activated Large Beam Swords.
