Original price was: $24.99.Current price is: $21.24.

The PFF-X7/J5 Jupitive Gundam is one of the various configurations of the PFF-X7 Core Gundam designed and constructed by Hiroto Kuga for his personal use in Gunpla Battles. The PFF-X7 Core Gundam is a small and compact Mobile Suit modeled after the RX-78-2 Gundam, this particular version wearing the standard Core Gundam color scheme. This Mobile Suit uses the PLANETS System, which allows it to dock with a series of unique equipment packs. The Jupitive Unit, named after the planet Jupiter, features several components to amplify the Mobile Suit’s maneuverability and attack power during space battles. The PFF-X7/J5 Jupitive Gundam also utilizes thrusters that double as remote-bit weapons. The PFF-X7/J5 Jupitive Gundam is one of the only configurations of the Core Gundam with access to remote-bit weapons.

Included alongside the HG Jupitive Gundam for accessories:

  • Core Spray Gun
  • Beam Saber x2
  • Beam Saber Blade (Long) x2
  • PLANET System Core
  • Display Base
  • Parts for Beam Gatling Gun
  • Beam Shield Effect x2
  • Multi Container Bit Beam Effect x2

The HG Jupitive Gundam borrows most of its construction from the previously released HGBD:R #01 Earthree Gundam, as both Gunpla Battlers utilize the PFF-X7 Core Gundam as the base of their designs. The Core Gundam features double-jointed elbows and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. With the Jupitive Armor equipped, the HG Jupitive Gundam will feature an additional articulation point in its legs for even greater posability. Builders can use the PLANET System Core to display the Jupitive Armor and the Core Gundam separately. This model includes a small sheet of color-correcting stickers to help builders recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Jupitive Gundam includes the Beam Gatling Gun as its primary weapon. This weapon is a modification of the Core Gundam’s Beam Spray Gun with significantly increased power output. This model also includes a pair of Beam Sabers attached to its backpack for close-quarters engagements. Bandai provided beam saber effects of varying lengths to replicate this equipment’s activation. The HG Jupitive Gundam’s thrusters and wrist weapons double as remote-controlled bits. These bits could connect to the Mobile Suit in different configurations or fly autonomously.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGBD:R #13 Jupitive Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
