HGBF #005 KUMA-03 Beargguy III (SAN)

The KUMA-03 Beargguy III is a custom Build Fighter created by China Kousaka during Gundam Build Fighters. As a member of Seiho Academy’s art program, China Kousaka used the full extent of her creative capabilities when designing the KUMA-03 Beargguy III, even stuffing the model with cotton as if it were a teddy bear! The KUMA-03 Beargguy III also featured a unique LCD screen face that allowed its pilot to create different expressions during battle. Despite being a newcomer to the Build Fighter scene, China Kousaka showed prowess during her debut in the All-Girls Gunpla Tournament and fought heroically during the 7th Gunpla Battle World Championship.

Articulation –

The HG Beargguy III borrows several components from the previously released HGUC #78 MSM-04 Acguy, a predecessor of the fictional HG KUMA-02 Beargguy II model kit that China Kousaka used to create her custom Gunpla Battler. This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Beargguy III includes several additional arm-joint segments that builders can use to recreate the Mobile Suit’s extending forearm gimmick.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

Like its Universal Century counterpart, the HG Beargguy III features an assortment of onboard weaponry placed throughout its frame. There are Beam Emitters built into the HG Beargguy III’s forearms that function as Beam Sabers or Beam Cannons depending on the pilot’s choice. The HG Beargguy III also features a Beam Cannon hidden inside the Mobile Suit’s mouth. Bandai provided two transparent pink beam effects to replicate the activation of this equipment. This model also includes a thorough sheet of foil stickers to customize the face of your HG Beargguy III right out of the box!
