HGBF #017 XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita

The XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita is an upgraded version of the XXXG-01Wf Wing Gundam Fenice constructed by Ricardo Fellini for use in the Gunpla Battle World Championship. After the destruction of the first unit, Ricardo Fellini created the XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita from the ground up instead of salvaging parts from the last version. The XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita now features a symmetrical set of wings resembling the ones used by the Endless Waltz version of the XXXG-01W Wing Gundam, both equipped with the previous version’s Beam Mante Emitters. The XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita also features a transformation into a bird-like Flight Mode, just like its in-universe counterpart.

Articulation –

The HG Gundam Fenice Rinascita borrows most of its construction from the previously released HGAC #162 XXXG-01W Wing Gundam, the same model kit that Ricardo Fellini likely used as a child and used to create this personal Gunpla Battler! This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Gundam Fenice Rinascita provides an almost-complete transformation into Flight Mode, with several tabs built into its armor to secure the mode change for display atop your selected Action Base. This model includes a small sheet of color-correcting stickers to recreate the HG Gundam Fenice Rinascita’s on-screen appearance right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The HG Gundam Fenice Rinascita includes an updated version of the Buster Rifle Custom as its primary weapon. Like the previous rendition, the Buster Rifle Custom features underbarrel equipment that builders can remove for individual use. This updated version of the Buster Rifle Cannon features a Beam Saber and a smaller Beam Handgun attached to its underside. This Beam Saber can also function as a bayonet when connected to the Buster Rifle Cannon. Bandai provided a distinctive Beam Effect to recreate the equipment’s activation.
