HGBF #062 WF-01 Winning Fumina

$26.99

The WF-01 Winning Fumina is the second custom Gunpla Battler constructed by Minato Sakai in the image of his Gunpla-Building rival, Fumina Hoshino. Before developing the WF-01 Winning Fumina, Minato would ask Fumina for permission to create his own version of her Mobile Suit, the SD-237S Star Winning Gundam. Minato neglected to inform Fumina that the Mobile Suit in question would be the successor to his previous Fumina-inspired Mobile Suit, the SF-01 Super Fumina, much to her dismay. The WF-01 Winning Fumina is far more battle-focused than its predecessor, designed with less emphasis on the model’s cuteness. The WF-01 Winning Fumina’s armor could detach and combine, forming an AI-controlled version of the Star Winning Gundam.

Included alongside the HG Winning Fumina for accessories:

  • Winning Beam
  • Star Cross x2
  • Guard Bit x2
  • Beam Machine Gun
  • Display Base

Articulation
 –

The HG Winning Fumina borrows several components from the previously released HGBF #56 Chinagguy, despite its clear connections to other Mobile Suits in the HG Build Fighters line. This model does utilize some effect parts from the SDBF #30 Star Winning Gundam, but aside from that, the model uses entirely new components. The HG Winning Fumina features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. Builders can remove the HG Winning Fumina’s armor parts and use them to build a simplified version of the Star Winning Gundam for individual display. Bandai included a sheet of color-correcting stickers to help recreate the Mobile Suit’s on-screen appearance right out of the box! There is also an assortment of expressive eye stickers to help builders customize the HG Winning Fumina to their liking.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Winning Fumina includes the Beam Machine Gun as its primary weapon. The Beam Machine Gun can combine with the Star Crosses on the HG Winning Fumina’s shoulders to form the Star Buster Sword. The AI-controlled Star Winning Gundam can wield both configurations of this weapon in its manipulators. The HG Winning Fumina’s leg armor can function as a pair of Gun Bits when attached to the Star Winning Gundam.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGBF #62 Winning Fumina with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
