HGBF #21 Gundam Ez-SR

The Seiren Technical College Science Club fielded a team of three almost-identical Gunpla Battleres against Team Try Fighters, the RX-79[G]Ez-SR1 Gundam Ez-SR Intruder, the RX-79[G]Ez-SR2 Gundam Ez-SR Eliminator, and the RX-79[G]Ez-SR3 Gundam Ez-SR Shadow Phantom. Each of these Mobile Suits provides unique benefits in their specific roles, complimenting the team’s coordinated attacks. The RX-79[G]Ez-SR1 Gundam Ez-SR Intruder, built and piloted by Daigo Ishibashi, is designed for close-quarters engagements. The RX-79[G]Ez-SR2 Gundam Ez-SR Eliminator, assembled and operated by Shota Nishikawa, provides the team with long-range support using an array of artillery weapons. RX-79[G]Ez-SR3 Gundam Ez-SR Shadow Phantom belongs to Yukio Okamoto and utilizes several high-tech sensors for gathering and relaying information to its teammates and jamming enemy communications.

Included alongside the HG Gundam Ez-SR for accessories:

  • Beam Rifle
  • Short-Barrel for Beam Rifle
  • Sensor Shield
  • Intruder Configuration Parts
  • Eliminator Configuration Parts

The HG Gundam Ez-SR borrows most of its construction from the previously released HGUC #155 RX-79[G] Ez-8 Gundam Ez8, the same model kit that Team SRSC used to create their personal Gunpla Battlers! The HG Gundam Ez-SR features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses.

The Shadow Phantom configuration of the HG Ez-SR utilizes the same Beam Rifle as the Gundam Ez-8 and a radome unit for gathering combat data and disabling enemy communications. The Eliminator configuration sorites with a 6-tube Missile Launcher and a 180mm Cannon mounted to its backpack.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGBF #21 Gundam Ez-SR with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
