HGBF #53 Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam

$28.99

The ZGMF-X10A-A Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam is a custom Build Fighter created by Tatsuya Yuuki, also known as Meijin Kawaguchi III, for use during the 8th World Tournament. Tatsuya used the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam as the base of his design, selected for its versatility and overwhelming firepower. The Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam combines the strengths of Meijin Kawaguchi’s three previous Mobile Suits: the RX-93-v2V Hi-Nu Gundam Vrabe‘s remote weaponry, the PPMS-18E Kampfer Amazing‘s interchangeability, and the PPGN-001 Gundam Amazing Exia‘s diverse weaponry. The HG Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam retains its namesake’s onboard weaponry with the addition of several custom-made weapons to replace the original Mobile Suit’s DRAGOON System.

Included alongside the HG Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam for accessories:

  • Beam Rifle

 –

The HG Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam borrows most of its construction from the previously released HGCE #201 ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam, the same model kit that Tatsuya Yuuki would’ve used in-universe to construct his Gunpla Battler. This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The HG Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam also includes a small sheet of foil stickers to help builders create a fully color-accurate model right out of the box! This model also utilizes a small marking sticker on its shoulder armor to recreate the Mobile Suit’s shoulder emblem.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam’s Beam Rifle features two preattached Vrabe DRAGOONs that builders can remove for individual display. The Vrabe DRAGOON units attached to the Mobile Suit’s backpack also function as the Mobile Suit’s shields when attached to the wrists. Like its in-universe counterpart, the HG Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam features a pair of Beam Cannons connected to its backpack and two Railguns built into its side skirt armor. Builders can effortlessly achieve the HG Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam’s Full Burst Mode by posing all its weaponry in an active state.

This kit includes:

13 Runners total (A1, A2, C, D1, D2, E1, E2, F[x2], G[x2], H, PC002)

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGBF #53 Amazing Strike Freedom Gundam with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
