HGCE #176 MBF-02+AQM/E-X01 Strike Rouge

After repairing the GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam following its arrival at the Orb Union, the engineers at Morgenroete would find themselves with more than a handful of spare Strike Gundam Parts. From these parts, the Strike Rouge was born! The Strike Rouge is almost identical to the original specifications of the Strike Gundam, differing only in its upgraded power system. This upgrade provided the Strike Rouge with a drastically improved operation time, giving Strike Rouge’s Phase Shift Armor its red and pink hue. The Strike Rouge would prove instrumental in the Three Ships Alliance forces during the First Alliance-PLANT War. After briefly serving in the Second Alliance-PLANT War, Strike Rouge began to show its age against newer ZAFT and Earth Alliance Mobile Suits, and the Akatsuki Gundam would replace the Strike Rouge as Cagalli Yula Athha’s personal Mobile Suit.

Articulation –

This updated HGCE entry for the Strike Rouge uses the same runners as the previously released GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam, which makes sense given their identical in-universe appearance. Thanks to the Revive Strike Gundam’s engineering, this Strike Rouge features a thoroughly redesigned construction, incorporating all the latest engineering missed in the decade following the initial High Grade release. The Strike Rouge has no problem pulling off any pose, with its double-jointed knees and elbows. The Strike Rouge’s swiveling thighs will give the model a dynamic look in any stance. Even the Aile Striker’s wings and trusters articulate, making flying poses that much easier.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The 57mm High Energy Beam Rifle includes an articulated handle for the Strike Rouge’s opposite hand. You’ll also find a pair of deployed combat knives, which require some silver paint to match their appearance in the anime. Unlike their anime counterparts, these knives do not fold up for storage within the Mobile Suit. They are purely decorative. With the Striker Pack comes two standard Beam Sabers, each with its own Beam Effect for display purposes.
