$32.99

The GF13-001NHII Master Gundam is a close-quarters combat Mobile Fighter developed by Neo Hong Kong as the successor to the GF12-035NH Kowloon Gundam that won the 12th Gundam Fight four years earlier. The GF13-001NHII Master Gundam is comprised entirely of DG Cells that require precise mental control to prevent from growing excessively. The use of DG Cells allows the Master Gundam to self-regenerate after receiving heavy blows and disguise itself as the Kowloon Gundam during the opening rounds of the 13th Gundam Fight. The GF13-001NHII Master Gundam casts a much narrower silhouette than its predecessor, shedding much of the Kowloon Gundam’s heavy armor plating. However, the GF13-001NHII Master Gundam does feature an array of armor panels stored inside its updated thruster assemblies that can encase the Mobile Suit for additional protection against incoming attacks, also providing the Master Gundam with a menacing cloaked appearance.

The Fuunsaiki is a Mobile Fighter Support unit given to Master Asia after his victory in the 12th Gundam Fight and piloted by his favorite horse, whose name also happens to be Fuunsaiki.

Included alongside the HG Master Gundam and Fuunsaiki for accessories:

  • Darkness Finger Effect Manipulator x2
  • Large Darkness Finger Effect
  • Master Cloth
  • 1/144 Master Asia Figure
  • Display Stand for Fuunsaiki
  • Cloak Assembly

Articulation
 –

The HG Master Gundam features an entirely new construction supported by an array of polycaps, showcasing just how unique each entry in the HGFC line truly is. This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. Bandai provided several armor panels to replicate the HG Master Gundam’s cloaked state. The Fuunsaiki model included with this combo set is fully posable and features a small display stand to pose the horse on its hind legs!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The HG Master Gundam is one of the only High Grade models to include a 1/144 scale figure of its pilot! This tiny Master Asia comes molded to the Master Cloth effect, giving builders the option of cutting off the figure for an individual display and using the Master Cloth as a handheld weapon for the HG Master Gundam. Alternatively, builders can remove the handhold section of the Master Cloth Effect while leaving the entire length attached to the Master Asia Figure for a truly captivating display! Bandai provided two transparent pink manipulators and a massive effect part that will fight right over the model’s right manipulator to replicate the HG Master Gundam’s Darkness Finger attack.

HGFC #128 GF13-001NHII Master Gundam and Fuunsaiki

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGFC #128 GF13-001NHII Master Gundam and Fuunsaiki with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
