HGGA #24 Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound

The Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound is a heavily modified version of the Gundam AGE-2 Normal created by Bisidian using the remains of the abandoned AGE-2 Normal recovered after its battle against Sid. The AGE-2 Dark Hound shares almost identical performance with its predecessor, aside from the lack of an AGE System and inability to utilize Wear Packs. Like its predecessor, the AGE-2 Dark Hound can transform into a powerful high-speed mobile fighter known as Strider Mode. The Strider Mode can reach speeds three times faster than the Mobile Suit form while retaining the ability to use most of the system’s weaponry.

Articulation –

The HG Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound borrows several internal components from the previously released HGGA #10 Gundam AGE-2 Normal, showcasing the shared development between the two Mobile Suits. This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses! Builders can recreate the Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound’s transformation into Strider Mode using several part-swapping gimmicks and the articulation points built into the model. The HG Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound includes a small display stand to showcase the Mobile Suit as it soars through the air! This display base also features a horizontal 3mm attachment point, providing a means of displaying the Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound in Strider Mode right out of the box!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The AGE-2 Dark Hound’s DODS Lancer is a modification of the original AGE-2 Normal’s Hyper DODS Rifle, featuring a massive lancehead flanked by two smaller beam barrels. Like its predecessor, the DODS Lancer also serves as the nose of the Mobile Suit’s Strider Mode. The Mobile Suit also features two Anchor Shots, a set of grapple launchers used to entrap enemy Mobile Suits. These weapons come attached to the AGE-2 Dark Hound’s shoulder armor but are also removable for handheld use. The AGE-2 Dark Hound also features two Beam Sabers stored inside containers attached to the back skirt armor.
