HGGBB #01 Gundam Helios

The Gundam Helios is Bandai’s first entry in the new High Grade Gundam Breaker Battlogue model kit line! This line incorporates the customization system found in the Gundam Breaker Mobile mobile game, which breaks down the Mobile Suits into five major components. The attachment points for these components are shared across the lineup, allowing builders to customize their HGGBB model kit with ease, just like in the game! The Gundam Helios combines Ryusei Fudou’s second Custom Mobile Suit, the Gundam Areus, with the Freedom Gundams’s aeroelastic wings and a psychoframe construction borrowed from the Unicorn Gundam. Ryusei Fudou uses the Gundam Helios during the Gundam Breaker Battlogue animated series, which started in October of 2021, prior to the release of the HGGBB model kit line.

Articulation –

Despite sharing many aspects with older HG models, the Gundam Helios is as modern as a High Grade can be! The Gundam Helios features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs to provide a dynamic final product standing on its own or hurling through the air on an Action Base. The Gundam Helios even features Master Grade style shoulders, which allows the shoulder armor to move up and down independently from the rest of the arm. The midsection of the Gundam Helios attaches to the chest via a ball joint, which, in conjunction with the ball-jointed waist, provides the Gundam Helios with a supreme level of posability.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Gundam Helios features an impressive loadout of fixed armaments. The unit’s backpack sports a pair of Satellite Cannons, which unfurl over the Gundam Helios’s shoulders when deployed. An additional pair of Plasma Beam Cannons fold out from the backpack and rest next to the unit’s side skirting when deployed. a pair of Palma Fiocina Beam Cannons are hidden in the Gundam Helios’s palms, which are the key to performing the unit’s ultimate attack, the Helios Sestet Cannon.
