The Gouf Crimson Custom is a dashing color swap of the HGUC #117 MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom from the new Gundam Breaker Battlogue model kit lineup! This line incorporates the customization system found in the Gundam Breaker Mobile mobile game, which breaks down the Mobile Suits into five major components. The attachment points for these components are shared across the lineup, allowing builders to customize their HGGBB model kit with ease, just like in the game! The HG Gouf Crimson Custom’s silhouette is identical to the HG Gouf Custom Revive but comes printed in a brilliant red finish that would make even the Red Comet blush!

Articulation –
The Gouf Crimson Custom hosts loads of sweet articulation gimmicks, including a mono-eye swivel, thigh swivel, and hip rotation! These are welcome improvements compared to the Zeon Mobile Suit kits of the past. There is a ball joint to connect the wait and the torso, but the heat piping on the torso will inhibit some tilting back and forth. The Gouf Crimson Custom includes extra parts to help ease the customization process, such as an additional midsection to hold the heat piping when using a different chest segment.
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –
The Gouf Crimson Custom comes with the same awesome weapons as the MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom. The 3 Barrel Machine Gun is now a separate piece of equipment rather than built into the manipulator. This design change grants numerous customization opportunities on top of what’s already possible within the HGGBB lineup. The best aspect of this kit for many is the Gatling Shield. When the Gatling Gun component is attached to the Gouf’s shield, it plugs into the 3 Barrel Machine Gun for the Mobile Suit to operate the weapon. The Heat Sword can also be stored on the Gatling Shield when not deployed.

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.
You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the Gouf Crimson Custom with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.
Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.

Outside of the additional parts that aid with kitbashing and the incredible red color scheme, this is kit is identical to the amazing blue Gouf Custom kit. It’s all about that red which does a great job of making an already intimidating Gouf design all the more fierce looking.

Building had no issues and everything fit nicely with nothing being too loose, only complaint is the posing with the legs is a little limited but still able to pose it nicely with a stand. Accessories looked awesome so I had to buy it!
