$23.99

Designed for quick assaults, the MS-18E Kampfer from the “Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket” OVA series is one extra-deadly Zeon mecha! This much-anticipated release in Bandai’s High Grade Universal Century plastic kit series finally allows fans to build this all-powerful Mobile Suit.

Retrieve the Kampfer from the Gundam: War in the Pocket series and relive the best moments of the anime!

This MS-18E Kampfer kit comes complete with its signature weapons loadout that includes:

  • a chain mine linked with bendable wire
  • Beam sabers x2
  • Giant Bazookas x2
  • Sturm Fausts x2
  • Custom Shotguns x2
  • Foil stickers and markings stickers included for detail.

Articulation –

The MS-18E Kampfer has plenty of articulation and moving parts. His head swivels, the joints in his arms move, the waist pivots, and the legs bend. All around, this kit has good posing options.

Weapons and other notable attributes –

Each of the weapons must be handled by their respective hand parts since they are swappable. The Chain Mine is a poseable weapon. At the same time, the massive Bazooka is another armament used by MS-18E Kampfer.

Or you could store it on the backpack via adapters. You must remove the crotch panel to reveal a hardpoint for any Action Base (sold separately). That way, Kampfer can mount easily onto the base and pose the way you’d like.

This kit includes:

9 Runners total (A, B, C(x2), D(x2), E, SB, and PC)
Total Piece Count – 195 with 3 unused parts
Materials – PS, PE, ABS, PVC (wireline)
Japanese Instructions

HGUC #89 MS-18E Kampfer

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #89 MS-18E Kampfer with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
