Serving as both an infiltration and APC unit in the OVA “Gundam Unicorn”, the versatile D-50C Loto Twin Set can transform between MS and Tank mode and features realistic treads.

This perfect pair comes loaded with weapons for mixing and matching, and since there are two Lotos, you get double the accessories! These include:

  • Missile Container panels (deployed/standby)
  • Beam Burner arms (deployed/standby)
  • Machine Cannon
  • Searchlight

Articulation –

The transformation between Tank mode and MS mode is done in 5 easy steps and does not require and parts-forming. While in MS mode, the range of motion in the limbs is limited by modern standards. But, thanks to the lack of polycaps in the design, the D-50C Loto is a sturdy little tank of a model kit (even when it’s not actually in tank mode).

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

All of the included weapon accessories allow for a wider range of customization than your average High-Grade model kit. You can mix and match loadouts between the D-50C Loto Twin Set, use these parts for your other model kits, or try to use them all on just one Loto (probably more difficult than it seems). Use the included action base adapter to get some awesome poses of the D-50C Loto in the heat of battle.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #106 D-50C Loto Twin Set with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
