HGUC #114 RB-79 Ball Twin Set

$16.99

The RB-79 Ball Twin Set is one of the most standout model kits in the HGUC lineup! It features not one; but TWO RB-79 Ball units, as seen in the Mobile Suit Gundam anime. These teeny support units served many different combat roles throughout the One Year War. They primarily fought off Zeon advances until the Federation could send out their limited number of mobile suits.

The RB-79 Ball Twin Set includes:

  • 180mm Low-Recoil Cannon x2
  • Dual 180mm Cannon x2

Articulation
 –

The manipulator arms on the RB-79 Ball Twin Set articulates at the elbow and the wrist. The manipulator arms will rotate at the base for better posing too! Both weapons will rotate 360 degrees and move up and down to display the cannons firing.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

Each Ball will have a display stand included. For displaying on an action base, remove the adapter from the top of the included stand and plug it right onto the action base of your choosing. All of the weapons on the pod ball mount on 3mm pegs, so customization is easy and encouraged!

This kit includes:

6 Runners total (A[x2], B[x2], C[x2])

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #114 RB-79 Ball Twin Set with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
