HGUC #138 RMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version

$21.99

The MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version is a modest modification to the original RMS-108 Marasai used during the Grypps Conflict. The Zeon Remnants used a group of MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version to assault the Earth Federations Torrington Base. This HGUC rendition of the MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version serves as an awesome militaristic color swap of the original HGUC #52 RMS-108 Marasai with additional weaponry. This version is not a revive or refresh of the original kit. The joint structure and armor panels are almost entirely the same.

Accessories for the MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version are as follows:

  • Feyadeen Rifle
  • BR-87A Beam Rifle
  • Sea Serpent
  • Beam Saber x2

Articulation
 –

The model kit which the MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version borrows its construction from is over 15 years old! This model kit provides a sweet-looking and fully articulated Mobile Suit with a reasonable piece count. Perfect for beginners or someone whos looking for a straightforward old-school Gunpla model to add to their collection. The shoulder spikes mount to the MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Versions arm via ball joint for a more dynamic look. The Shoulder Shield articulates in two places and will rotate on its attachment point for better posing.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version uses a pair of unusually long Beam Sabers for close-quarters engagements. The Beam Sabers attach to the inside of the Shoulder Shield to recharge when not in use. Bandai included a set of transparent yellow Beam Effects for deploying the MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version’s Beam Sabers. The Feyadeen Rifle also functions as a Beam Saber, similar to the system used by the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. This version of the MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version uses a Sea Serpent weapon just like the RX-139 Hambrabi! This weapon launches from its handle and grapples to enemy Mobile Suits, delivering a crippling electric shock.

HGUC #138 MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #138 MRMS-108 Marasai Unicorn Version with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
