HGUC #151 MS-06R-1A Zaku II (Black Tri-Stars Custom)

The MS-06R-1A Zaku II Black Tri-Star is one of three Zaku II High Mobility Type from Mobile Suit Variations that belonged to the Black Tri-Stars MS Team. This design vastly improved performance but made the Mobile Suit too finicky for inexperienced pilots to operate. Zeon gave most production models to their Ace Pilots, like the Black Tri-Stars, Gaia, Mash, and Ortega. This model kit shares a vast majority of its construction with the HGUC #154 MS-06R-1A Zaku II Shin Matsunaga Custom, so be sure to check both of these awesome model kits out while they’re available.

Articulation –

The MS-06R-1A Zaku II Black Tri-Star features an improved level of detail and articulation compared to HGUC Zaku models of the past. Bandai’s improved engineering means you’ll have a much more lifelike recreation of the Mobile Suit. Reposition the monoeye by removing the MS-06R-1A Zaku II Black Tri-Star’s head and revealing the switch underneath. Bandai has also included a new knee armor gimmick for more realistic flying poses!

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

Unline the HG The Origin version of this model kit; this HGUC rendition does not include optional parts to recreate each of the different loadouts used by each pilot. Bandai included marking stickers to build your MS-06R-1A Zaku II Black Tri-Star as whichever member you prefer! The MS-06R-1A Zaku II Black Tri-Star can use all of its weapons with both hands thanks to the included Weapon Holding Left Manipulator. The Spare ammo and Heat Hawk can attach to the side skirt armor without the use of adapters. Everything else can be connected to the same adapter and clipped to the shoulder shield for storage; what a cool gimmick!
