The MS-08TX/S Efreet Schneid is a modified version of the original MS-08TX Efreet developed by the Principality of Zeon’s Earth Attack Force during the One Year War. This particular MS-08TX/S Efreet Schneid belonged to Doug Schneid, former Zeon Ace Pilot and the head of the Marchosias Corps MS Team. Fred Rebber, another member of the Marchosias Corps, would become the pilot of the Efreet during an escape attempt that claimed the life of his former commanding officer. Fred Rebber would continue to use the MS-08TX Efreet following the One Year War while working for Zeon Remnant groups. He would make several modifications over the next decade and eventually rename the Mobile Suit the MS-08TX/S Efreet Schneid to honor its original pilot, whom Rebber trusted dearly.

Articulation –
The HG Efreet Schneid features an entirely new internal construction, as this is the first rendition of the Efreet in the High Grade Universal Century lineup! This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The molded piping segment connecting the HG Efreet Schneid’s waist may inhibit the torso’s rotation capabilities. This model includes a sheet of foil color-correcting stickers to help builders achieve the proper coloration right out of the box!
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –
The HG Efreet Schneid features a massive array of Heat Darts strapped to its armor. The small form factor of this equipment makes them ideal throwable weapons, capable of penetrating Mobile Suit armor effortlessly with their superheated blades. Bandai provided two activated Heat Darts recreated with transparent orange tips for builders to display in the HG Efreet Schneid’s manipulators. This model also includes the H&L-GB05R/360mm Giant Bazooka used by the MS-09 Dom for a traditional ranged weapon.

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.
You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #206 MS-08TX/S Efreet Schneid with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.
Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
