HGUC #225 ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor

The ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor is a modification of the Silver Bullet Testbed Mobile Suit. The alterations granted the ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor access to the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam‘s Beam Magnum, while minor changes included redesigned legs and a new color scheme. The excessive recoil of the Beam Magnum causes catastrophic damage to the Suit’s right Arm, so much so that the unit jettisons the appendage from below the shoulder each time it discharges the weapon. The ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor uses a uniquely placed sub-arm to replace the destroyed segment with one of the four spares stored underneath the two rear thrusters.

Articulation –

The sub arm responsible for exchanging the ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor’s appendages attaches to the back skirt armor of the Mobile Suit. This equipment features multiple articulation points to achieve this wicked cool gimmick! Only one of the spare arms articulates as expected. The other three are purely decorative. ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor benefits from double-jointed limbs, providing this Mobile Suit with an excellent level of posability. The ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor’s slender waist allows for a full range of motion and provides a much more dynamic look.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The only weapon included with the ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor is the Beam Magnum. This weapon comes molded in only gray plastic but should feature blue E-pacs. The ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor also utilizes a pair of Beam Cannons mounted to the Backpack binders. These weapons articulate at their attachment point, with an articulated thruster mounted to its surface as well. There are two Beam Saber hilts included as leftovers from the HGUC Silver Bullet model kit from which this kit borrows many aspects. There are no Effect Parts to use with these Hilts, so you’ll have to add your own.
