HGUC #38 RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type

$10.99

The dominance of Zeon’s MS-09 Dom late in the One Year War would force the Earth Federation to improve the design of the RGM-79 GM. The RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type is the successful product of this initiative.

The HGUC RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type comes with:

  • Type-2 90mm Machine Gun
  • Shield
  • Unpainted Beam Saber Hand
  • Beam Saber Hilt

Articulation
 –

Being that this kit is almost 20 years old, the articulation is pretty basic. The RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type should snap together quickly and be as solid as a rock once completed. There are better, more modern versions of the GM in the High Grade scale these days, but the HGUC RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type is an unbeatable value for the price.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

You can equip the RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type’s Shield on either forearm thanks to the hard points on the backside of each arm. The attachment point for the shield is ball-jointed for a more dynamic look while being held. The Machine Gun features a removable magazine for some awesome reloading action!

This kit includes:

5 Runners total (A, B1, B2, C, PC123+)
Total Piece Count – 98 with 8 Unused Parts

HGUC #38 RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #38 RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
