HGUC #39 MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment

$15.99

The MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment is the improved version of the MSM-07S ZGOK seen in the Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket anime. The MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment adds many changes to the original Z’gock’s design, adding up to create a much more powerful Amphibious Mobile Suit. Despite all the changes, the MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment still maintains its iconic appearance, but now in an intimidating grey color scheme.

Included with the HGUC MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment:

  • Hydrojet Boosters

Articulation –

The segmented portions of the limbs are not individually jointed. Instead, Bandai opted to use a more basic internal design and have the armor panels slide down over the frame. Unfortunately, this prevents the MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment from collapsing its limbs for cruising mode like the HGUC #37 MSM-03C Hy-Gogg. The final build is much sturdier because of this change. Each of the Vice Claws articulates separately for posing the MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment during an attack. The torso attaches via a ball joint, which adds some articulation to the Mobile Suit’s midsection.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

Most of the weaponry used by the MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment is built right into the Mobile Suit. Within the forearms are two Rapid Fire Beam Cannons, and there are six Torpedos located inside the MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment’s head. The Vice Claw shares many similarities to the Irons Nail used by other aquatic Zeon MS, but packs an even bigger punch! Like the Hy-Gogg, the MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment utilizes a set of Hydrojet Boosters to leap from the water and attack enemy Mobile Suits.

HGUC #39 MSM-07E Z’Gok Experiment

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #39 MSM-07E ZGok Experiment with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
