$21.99

The HGUC MS-14A Gelgoog / MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon model kit includes the parts to construct one model as either the MS-14A Gelgoog or the MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon. The Cannon variant features a new backpack that holds the Beam Cannon and an upgraded sensor on the Gelgoog’s head. Whichever version you decide to build will make a sweet rendition of the MS-14A Gelgoog / MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon with minimal effort!

Here is what Bandai included for accessories with the MS-14A Gelgoog / MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon model kit:

  • Beam Rifle
  • 3 Tube Missile Launcher
  • Beam Naginata
  • Cannon Backpack
  • Shield

Articulation
 –

The MS-14A Gelgoog / MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon shares most of its engineering with the HGUC #70 MS-14S Chars Gelgoog. Compared to other Zeon model kits from this time, the MS-14S Chars Gelgoog is much more articulate. The lack of heat piping in the torso allows the Gelgoog to rotate 360 degrees at its base. The Hip joint will swivel back and forth, and the knees are double-jointed too! Change the position of the monoeye by removing the top portion of the Mobile Suit’s head.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

Bandai included two transparent yellow beam effects to recreate the deployed Beam Naginata. The Gelgoog and Gelgoog Cannon will each have unique storage locations for the Naginata Handle when not in use. The lens for the Beam Rifle is molded separately for easy painting. The MS-14A Gelgoog’s shield is incompatible with the MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon unless the forearm equipment is removed.

This kit includes:

7 Runners total (A, B1, B2, C, D, E, PC116)
Total Piece Count – 166 with 15 Unused Parts
Foil Stickers

HGUC #76 MS-14A Gelgoog / MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #76 MS-14A Gelgoog / MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
