HGUC #78 MSM-04 Acguy

$17.99

The MSM-04 Acguy is the Zeonic Company’s first successful attempt at creating an amphibious Mobile Suit. Its adorable appearance has captured the hearts of many Gundam fans over the years. This High Grade iteration hosts a ton of sweet gimmicks that fans of all ages can appreciate.

Included with the MSM-04 Acguy, you’ll find:

  • Arm Extension Joint x6
  • Iron Nail (Retracted + Extended)
  • Optional Right arm Missile + Mega Particle Cannon
  • Stub-Arm Piece

Articulation
 –

The MSM-04 Acguy’s design prevents the addition of articulation points within the torso. The head is mounted on a single ball joint, allowing for some side-to-side movement. You can change the position of the mono-eye horizontally and vertically by removing the clear canopy.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

Choose between the Iron Nail and the Missile Pod option parts for the Right arm. You can extend the limbs for an attack, just like in the anime with the included joint pieces. Bandai has gone the extra mile by molding some mechanical details on the frame parts for the MSM-04 Acguy, something pretty uncommon for a High Grade model (Especially way back in 2007).

This kit includes:

5 Runners total (A, B, C, D, PC123+)
Total Piece Count – 131 with 12 Unused Parts
Foil Stickers
Materials – PS, PE, ABS

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #78 MSM-04 Acguy with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
