HGUC #81 MSM-10 Zock

$31.99

The MSM-10 Zock is one of the strangest amphibious Mobile Suits introduced during the original Mobile Suit Gundam animated series, and that’s really saying something. This big green machine is far from lean! The Zock outsized all other Mobile Suits used by either side during the One Year War, only beat by some of Zeon’s massive Mobile Armors. The uniqueness doesn’t end there, as the front and back sides of the MSM-10 Zock are completely identical!

Articulation –

The Monoeye can rotate 360 degrees around its track and shift up and down the slots on either side of the MSM-10 Zock! The reason being that this Mobile Suit can attack from either side, giving it’s pilot a significant advantage over other MS. The MSM-10 Zock isn’t capable of walking on its legs. Instead, it can hover around or jump into position using onboard thrusters. As for the model kit, the legs are articulated but only using ball joint connections.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The MSM-10 Zock is one of the few HGUC model kits with molded internal details on the frame parts! This added level of detail means the Zock will look great when displayed without all its armor! All of the Iron Nails articulate in three places! The 8 Mega Particle Guns and the Maser Cannon are color accurate and molded separately from the torso, providing an excellent finished product.

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #81 MSM-10 Zock with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
