The FA-93HWS Nu Gundam HWS adds tons of offensive and defensive capabilities to the RX-93 Nu Gundam. This redesign from CCA:MSV improved the overall defense with additional armor plating and added thrusters to negate the added weight. The HGUC FA-93HWS Nu Gundam HWS still sports its original color scheme and uses many parts from the original HGUC Nu Gundam linked above.

Articulation –

Fans of the Nu Gundam design will be pleased to find out that each of the Fin Funnels included with the FA-93HWS Nu Gundam HWS articulates separately and detach and reattach from each other with ease! The armor pieces for the back skirt armor may inhibit some posability and likely will fall off as there is no solid connection to the skirt piece underneath the armor. The size of the shoulder Missile Pods will inhibit the movement of the FA-93HWS Nu Gundam HWS head.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The FA-93HWS Nu Gundam HWS adds loads of additional firepower to the already impressive Nu Gundam Loadout. The Hyper Mega Rifle used by the FA-93HWS Nu Gundam HWS is several times more powerful than a Battleship’s Mega Particle Cannon. This loadout also adds two Mega Particle Cannons to the Shield, similar to the weapon used by the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam. Bandai included the Beam Rifle and Bazooka from the original model kit to give the FA-93HWS Nu Gundam HWS an incredible value!

Tips and Tricks –

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the HGUC #93 FA-93HWS Nu Gundam HWS with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. If you’re up to a challenge making panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before the application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
