MG FA-010-A FAZZ

$66.99

The FA-010A FAZZ is a prototype Mobile Suit developed by Anaheim Electronics to test the viability of additional armor panels and weaponry for the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam, which was currently in development. The FA-010A FAZZ does not feature a transformable frame like the ZZ Gundam, allowing the teams at Anaheim Electronics to produce three FAZZ units months before the rollout of the ZZ Gundam. Anaheim also omitted the onboard High Mega Cannon built into the ZZ Gundam’s head, including a massive cannon mounted to the Mobile Suit instead. The FAZZ’s armor plating contains multiple arrays of missile launchers, allowing the FAZZ to continue assaulting targets while its Hyper Mega Cannon recharges.

Included alongside the MG FA-010A FAZZ for accessories:

  • Hyper Mega Cannon
  • Double Beam Rifle
  • Action Base Adapter

The MG FAZZ is an old-school Master Grade that uses a combination of internal frame parts and hollow armor sections in its assembly, all constructed without any polycaps to help maintain a sturdy pose. The model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The MG FAZZ borrows most of its construction from the previously released MG FA-010S Full Armor ZZ Gundam, showcasing the shared development between these Mobile Suits.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The FA-010A FAZZ’s Hyper Mega Cannon comes attached to the Mobile Suit’s backpack, helping to support the weight of this massive weapon. In the UC timeline, the Hyper Mega Cannon was the most destructive mega cannon constructed at the time, outperforming the ZZ Gundam’s High Mega Cannon by 30MW! The FA-010A FAZZ powers this weapon through a cable connected to its backpack, directly linking it to the Mobile Suit’s power generator. The Mobile Suit’s armor plating features removable panels to reveal the assortment of missiles underneath. The Beam Cannons on the FA-010A FAZZ’s backpack do not function as Beam Sabers like cannons found on the ZZ Gundam.

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the FA-010-A FAZZ with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
