MG GAT-X105 Strike Gundam IWSP

$51.99

The GAT-X105 Strike Gundam is a multipurpose Mobile Suit developed by Morgenroete, Inc. for the Earth Alliance’s G Project. Morgenroete designed the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam to utilize a series of combat-altering Striker Packs, aiming to fill a variety of roles on the battlefield. Morgenroete designed the P202QX Integrated Weapons Striker Pack (IWSP) to combine the defining characteristics of the Aile, Launcher, and Sword Striker Packs, potentially serving as an all-purpose Striker Pack. This equipment would first appear equipped by the MBF-02 Strike Rouge late into the First Alliance-PLANT War, only seeing a brief deployment before its replacement with the standard Aile Striker Pack due to its overwhelming control scheme. Actaeon industries would later revive the IWSP project for use with their re-manufactured Strike Gundam, changing its model number to AQM/E-M1. The combat data gathered by the GAT-X105E+AQM/E-M1 Strike Gundam IWSP would aid in developing the GAT-X105E Strike Noir Gundam.

The MG Strike Gundam IWSP borrows most of its construction from the original MG Aile Strike Gundam released way back in 2003! The MG Strike Freedom IWSP features a complete internal frame with a functioning cockpit that reveals the 1/100 Sven Cal Bayang seated within! This model features double-jointed knees and elbows, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. The MG Strike Freedom IWSP includes a small sheet of color-correcting stickers to help recreate the Mobile Suit’s proper coloring right out of the box! Bandai also provided all the markings necessary for all three iterations of the Integrated Weapon System Pack.

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the MG GAT-X105 Strike Gundam IWSP with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
