The Blitz Gundam is one of four prototype Gundam Mobile Suits stolen from the Earth Alliance by ZAFT during the second year of the Bloody Valentine War. Like the other G-Project Mobile Suits, the Blitz Gundam features a unique loadout of fixed and handheld armaments designed to provide a significant advantage in a specific role. The Earth Alliance developed the Blitz Gundam with a heavy focus on stealth-oriented combat, with the most notable inclusion being the Mirage Colloid Stealth System. This equipment coats the Blitz Gundam with microscopic prisms that bend light and prevent infrared detection, rendering the Mobile Suit completely invisible for up to 80 minutes.

Articulation –
The MG Blitz Gundam shares most of its inner frame with the previously released MG Duel Gundam, reflecting their in-universe shared lineage. This frame provides double-jointed limbs, swiveling thighs, and a slender silhouette that makes dynamic posing a breeze! The MG Blitz Gundam also features functioning cockpit hatches to reveal the pilot seated within! This model also provides an armor separating gimmick on both shoulders to represent the activation of the Mirage Colloid! The MG Blitz Gundam’s back boosters offer a small range of motion to either side, perfect for creating interesting flying poses!
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –
The Blitz Gundam includes the “Trikeros” Offensive Shield System, a powerful and versatile armament mounted to its right arm. The Trikeros features three “Lancer Dart” Hypervelocity Kinetic Energy Penetrators. These are rocket-propelled weapons made to penetrate thick layers of armor and detonate for a catastrophic result. The Trikeros also features a Beam Emitter for added ranged firepower that detaches for handheld use as a Beam Saber. Attached to the left arm is the Piercer Lock “Gleipnir,” which features a rocket-propelled claw to ensnare enemy Mobile Suits. Bandai included a posable wire for displaying this weapon at full extension.
