MG GNX-603T GN-X

$42.99

The GN-X is a powerful mass-production Mobile Suit operated by the United Nations Forces. The GN-X utilizes the GN Drive Tau, a replication of Celestial Being’s GN Drives created using stolen data. The GN Drive Tau enabled the GN-X to fight with Celestial Being’s Gundams on equal footing and overwhelm them in large groups. The UN Forces assigned their best and brightest pilots to their GN-X units hoping they would be enough to combat the notorious Gundam Meisters. The main drawback of the GN-X is its limited operation time, as the GN Drive Tau cannot function perpetually like the standard drives.

Included alongside the GN-X for accessories:

  • GN Beam Rifle
  • GN Shield
  • Long Barrel for GN Beam Rifle
  • GN Beam Saber x2
  • 1/100 Sergei Smirnov Figure
  • 1/100 Soma Peries Figure
  • Action Base Adapter

Articulation
 –

The MG GN-X borrows a handful of internal frame pieces from the previously released MG Gundam Exia, helping to provide the model with the iconic Mobile Suit Gundam 00 shape and stature. The model features a complete inner frame supported by polycaps and a functioning cockpit to reveal the selected pilot figure seated within. The MG GN-X features a massive cavity in its torso where builders can place the GN Drive Tau. The MG GN-X also utilizes double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes

The GN-X’s main armament is the GN Beam Rifle, a newly-developed weapon enabled by the Mobile Suit’s GN Drive Tau. The GN Beam Rifle features an onboard GN Condenser to reduce particle consumption from the Mobile Suit’s main drive. The MG GN-X also includes option parts to transform the Beam Rifle into the GN Long Barrel Beam Rifle, drastically improving the weapon’s range and accuracy at the cost of fire rate. The GN-X also sorties with a pair of GN Beam Sabers hidden inside its leg armor for close-quarters combat. The GN Shield features rotating Defense Rods to represent the equipment’s activation.

Description

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the GNX-603T GN-X with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking DecalsTop Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
