The AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal is a prototype Mobile Suit created by Flit Asuno using the data stored on the AGE Device, an Asuno Family heirloom containing centuries of data relating to Mobile Suit development. The Gundam AGE-1 Normal was the first Mobile Suit to utilize the AGE System; a unique operating system that provides the Mobile Suit with various “Wear Packs” developed by the AGE Builder using data gathered by the Gundam AGE-1 Normal’s AGE Device during combat. The Gundam AGE-1 also benefits from higher output and performance than Mass Production MS fielded by the Earth Federation and would prove pivotal in the battle against Vagan.

Articulation – 

The MG Gundam AGE-1 Normal features entirely new construction, as this is the first Mobile Suit from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE to receive a Master Grade release. MG Gundam AGE-1 Normal features a complete internal frame with a functioning cockpit to reveal the 1/100 Flit Asuno figure seated within! The model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses! 

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The Barrel of the DODS Rifle can rotate 90 degrees to enter precision firing mode, just like in the anime! Alternatively, builders can remove the barrel to achieve Hand Gun Mode. This weapon attaches to the back skirt when not in use. Bandai provided a pair of Beam Sabers stored in the Mobile Suit’s side skirt armor. Bandai also provided two short beam effects to recreate the Beam Dagger mode. Builders can attach the AGE-1’s Shield to either forearm.

By implementing the technique of Top Coating, you can do a great deal to help preserve the longevity of your models. This process will protect the original plastic of your model kit and prepare it for any additional modeling techniques to follow.

You can drastically improve your results by making the details pop on the [INSERT KIT NAME HERE] with Panel Lining. The simplest solution for this is Gundam Markers or Tamiya Panel Line Fluid. Making your own panel wash is always a great option too! It is always recommended to Topcoat with clear gloss beforehand, as some of the products commonly used for Panel Lining will degrade the untreated plastics over time.

Another way to keep adding detail is by applying Stickers/Marking Decals. Top Coating before application will help decals stick to the surface much better. Using Top Coat after application will help hide the seams on traditional sticker decals as well as waterslides. This additional step will also keep them from peeling over time. Using Decals is a great way to add an even greater level of detail to your scale models.
