MG MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red

The MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red is a custom Mobile Suit created by Valerio Valeri based on the MBF-P0X Gundam Astray Noir and the MBF-P03secondL Astray Blue Frame Second L. The MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red features a unique combat AI named 80 that could control the MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red during combat. Valeri designed the MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red to command two autonomous Mobile Suits, the CAT1-VGL Hyperion GR, and the CAT1-VGL Hyperion GL. These Mobile Suits would serve as the MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red’s first line of defense against enemy Mobile Suits during most engagements. However, the MBF-02VV Gundam Astray Turn Red was more than capable of fighting alone, thanks to its impressive loadout.

Articulation –

The MG Gundam Astray Turn Red borrows most of its construction from the previously released MG MBF-P02KAI Gundam Astray Red Frame, showcasing the in-universe lineage that connects these two Mobile Suits. This model features double-jointed limbs and swiveling thighs, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. Builders can use the included Action Base 2 to aid in posing the MG Gundam Astray Turn Red as it wields its Tactical Arms! Bandai provided a small sheet of color-correcting stickers to help builders recreate the Mobile Suit’s appearance right out of the box! There is also a sheet of waterslide decals included to customize the model.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The MG Gundam Astray Turn Red includes two Tactical Arms IIs units, the same multipurpose armament used by the MBF-P03secondL Astray Blue Frame Second L. The Tactical Arms IIs attach to the Mobile Suit’s back in Sword Form, creating two massive physical blades that outsize the MG Gundam Astray Turn Red by several meters. The Tactical Arms IIs also feature a Gatling Form, which provides the most effective use of the equipment’s built-in 90mm Gatling Gun. This form also provides the Mobile Suit with additional protection from incoming projectiles.
