MG MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom

The MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom is a redesigned variant of the original MS-07B Gouf developed for the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. After introducing the MS-09 Dom, the Principality of Zeon continued developing the Gouf platform using the remaining production unit, producing multiple variants that solved many issues that plagued the first iteration. The MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom improves the Mobile Suit’s versatility by implementing a left manipulator instead of a fixed machine gun. The Principality of Zeon constructed a handful of MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom units for their ace pilots, the most notable of whom was Norris Packard, who used the Mobile Suit in Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.

Articulation –

The MG Gouf Custom features an almost-complete internal frame that borrows several components from the original MG Gouf that is no longer in production. Bandai utilized several screws and an array of polycaps when designing the MG Gouf Custom, helping the model maintain its pose. This model features double-jointed knees and elbows, providing a wide range of motion to create dynamic poses. Bandai used individually molded rings to recreate the Heat Piping that covers the MG MG Gouf Custom’s exterior. Builders can adjust the position of this model’s monoeye sensor by removing its head armor.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The MG Gouf Custom comes loaded with tons of excellent equipment! The 3 Barrel Machine Gun included with this model is now a separate piece of equipment rather than built into the manipulator. This change allows for a broader range of customization than the standard MS-07B Gouf. The best aspect of this kit for many is the Gatling Shield. When the Gatling Gun component is attached to the Gouf’s shield, it plugs into the 3 Barrel Machine Gun for the Mobile Suit to operate the weapon. The Heat Sword can also be stored on the Gatling Shield when not deployed.
