MG MS-07B Gouf Ver. 2.0

The MS-07B Gouf is a high-performance ground combat Mobile Suit created by Zeonic Company with the hopes of replacing its predecessor, the MS-06J Zaku II. This plan never came to fruition, as the Gouf’s high production costs led to a swift replacement by the cheaper and more efficient MS-09 Dom. Only a handful of MS-07B Goufs saw production, some of which would become alternate variants like the MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom. The most notable appearance of the MS-07B Gouf came during the One Year War when Zeon Lieutenant Ramba Ral famously terrorized the Federation’s White Base Team while commandeering an MS-07B Gouf.

Articulation –

The MG MS-07B Gouf borrows most of its internal construction from the previously released MG MS-06J Zaku II Ver. 2.0, providing the model with an up-to-date and modernized frame to apply the Gouf’s distinctive armor over. The MG MS-07B Gouf features double jointed limbs, swiveling thighs, and a functioning cockpit, a vast improvement of the original MG Gouf from 2000! This model uses the same building gimmick as the Zaku 2.0 to create the Mobile Suit’s heat piping, providing an efficient and speedy solution without sacrificing color accuracy.

Weapons and Other Notable Attributes –

The MS-07B Gouf includes an alternate left manipulator to replace the 3 Barrel Machine Gun. The Heat Saber’s handle fits snugly inside the Shield when not in use. Builders can adjust the length of the Mobile Suit’s Heat Rod by simply removing the desired amount of segments from the base. Each section provides a small range of motion that, when adjusted, can create dynamic attack poses, as demonstrated in the instructions. Since this model uses the same manipulators as the MG Zaku II 2.0, it is compatible with a wide range of Zeon weaponry included alongside models from the same lineage.
